What we collect
Data Migration Tools is a client-side toolkit. Every tool on this site runs entirely in your browser. The data you paste, upload, or generate in a tool is never sent to our servers.
The only data we collect is:
- Anonymous usage analytics (page views, tool launches, referrer) via a privacy-respecting analytics provider. No user IDs, no cross-site tracking.
- The text you send to the migration agent when you explicitly ask for a migration assessment. That text is sent to our
/api/agentendpoint, processed by an LLM to extract structured slots, and then discarded. We do not store your migration queries.
What we never collect
- The contents of files you upload to any tool. Files are read by
FileReaderand processed locally. - The text you paste into any converter, scanner, validator, or decoder.
- Your JWTs, secrets, or API keys. The JWT decoder and Base64 tools run entirely in your browser.
- Your CSV, JSON, XML, or YAML data.
Cookies
We use a single first-party cookie to remember your consent choice on the cookie banner. No advertising cookies, no third-party tracking cookies. See our Cookie Policy for details.
Third-party services
- Cloudflare Pages hosts this site and serves the
/api/agentendpoint. Cloudflare may log request metadata (IP, timestamp) for abuse prevention. - Anthropic provides the LLM used for migration slot extraction. Your migration query text is sent to Anthropic's API when you use the agent. We do not send file contents — only the text query.
- Cloudflare Turnstile may be used to protect the agent endpoint from abuse. Turnstile runs in your browser and sends a token to our server.
Your rights
- Know what data we collect (this page).
- Request deletion of any data we hold about you (contact us below).
- Opt out of analytics by declining the cookie banner.
Because we do not store your tool data, there is nothing to delete on our end — your data lives only in your browser session.
